God – He’s created everything, has existed forever, and exists as an eternal relationship between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Bible – It’s inspired by God, completely trustworthy, and is the ultimate authority for our lives.
People – We have value and dignity because we are God’s. God designed us for relationship with Him and others, but our sin has severely damaged those relationships. The consequences of our sin are too big for us to overcome on our own. We need help.
Jesus – He’s fully God and fully human, lived a perfect example of life, and was sent to save us.
Forgiveness – Jesus took on the consequences of our sin and was killed for it. He came back to life, and can now be our Forgiver and Leader. If we repent and put our faith in Him alone, we will experience God’s forgiveness and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit – He gives us new life, empowers us for new living, and dwells within everyone who follows Jesus.
The Church – The church is a community of believers “called out” to live for God and His purposes.
Jesus’ return – Jesus will come back to make all things right and will judge all of us with justice and mercy.
Unity – We’re one part of a much bigger picture called the Church. By majoring on the majors and minoring on minors, we seek to be unified with every other church that follows Jesus.
